Perfect spot for date night. Robata bar to start. Sushi to complete. Great meal, service & atmosphere.

I am so happy I came here. Great service. Great food and get the fried rice and the katsuya roll. The katsuya roll sounds weird but it’s so good.

Love the food here, but I would not recommend this place for any kind of romantic occasion, as it can get loud. Also, the men's bathroom is a trip... side-by-side urinals with no partition and mirrors everywhere. Do the math.

I wish I could give ten stars. Every single member of staff went above and beyond to make our very special occasion feel special. Mixed reviews on here may leave you guessing but for tonight, we felt like the most important people in the restaurant. Thank you to the whole Katsuya team.

They have valet parking available ($10). We ran late for our reservations, but hostesses were very nice and sat us right away. On the weekends, they have a DJ playing music in a bar area next to the dining area. You're able to order food and drinks until they close, but can continue to order drinks there after closing time. We ordered edamame, seaweed salad, gyoza, and the chef's choice (picture). Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere was great! Our server took good care of us.

Katsuya in Brentwood is my favorite sushi restaurant in LA. The atmosphere is hip and elegant. The service is excellent and the food is exquisite. Be prepared, it's a bit pricey. But you will not be disappointed. Don't forget to try the spicey tuna on crispy rice!

Solid spot, solid sushi. The yellowtail jalapeño and the baked crab hand rolls are can't-misses. The zen garden cheesecake was a bit too tart but otherwise solid. Good vibes, good service as well!

My friend and I decided to try the Katsuya Brentwood. I've always been pleased with Katsuya dining experience. Parking was easy, in front of restaurant and valet. This place has outdoor seating and indoor. The vibe is awesome, the dj was a laying some great songs and food was delicious. The service was a little slow, yet friendly. We had the spicy edamame and lemon roll, both were fresh and delicious! I will definitely be back!

If you have not tried Katsuya in BRENTWOOD, I highly recommend that you do. It is my all time favorite restaurant and my number one recommendation for dining. My boyfriend and I came to Katsuya to celebrate on a busy Saturday night. We were immediately greeted by David, the manager. He is always incredibly kind and makes us feel extremely welcomed. We were quickly sat by Em and Amanda, who are the absolute sweetest and most accommodating. Our server, Gabe, was attentive and knowledgeable. He even suggested a drink for my boyfriend that has become his new "go-to" after tonight. He also surprised my boyfriend with a dessert to congratulate him. The food and atmosphere at Katsuya is phenomenal however it is the entire staff that makes Katsuya so special. Nearly everyone stopped to say hello to us throughout the evening despite how busy they were. We felt extremely cared for. Our favorite dishes are the tomahawk short ribs, spicy tuna crispy rice, salmon lemon roll and the new donut hole dessert. Compliments to the chefs! I cannot recommend a better restaurant. Everything is stellar - the food, the atmosphere, and most importantly the staff of Katsuya. Thank you for being so amazing Katsuya!
